Why “4 elements”? Because all flow problems we solve can essentially be described a combination of the 4 elements: fire, air, water and earth. Here fire stands for any sort of chemical reaction, air stands for all kinds of gases, water for all liquids and earth symbolises any kind of impurity within the flow. This can be for example soot or microplastics.
